Manuscript exercise book containing copies of poems by Sandys and his friends at Eton College. Contents include elegies, birthday poems, translations of Greek and Latin epigrams, an "Ode to Contentment," and several stanzas headed "Beginning of 55/on the improvements making in Eton." The volume also includes copies of a letter and a biographical note by Sandys which detail news of Eton in 1754 and 1755.
